George is a consultant ecologist with over 20 years' experience. He has significant expertise in habitat management, ecological restoration, forest ecology and peatlands ecology. George is the lead author of the Heritage Council's Best Practice Guidance for Habitat Survey and Mapping.
His specialties are habitat restoration, vascular plant and bryophyte ecology, biodiversity management, and field and GIS-based habitat survey. George also surveyed the Mount Briscoe Walled Garden in 2023 prior to some remedial conservation works commencing.
